In summary, the book “Let Them” is a book about removing the need to self-regulate and to quit worrying about what others think or feel about what you do or say.

You “let them” feel and deal with their own emotions and thoughts on their own, and you simply “let go” of the anxious thoughts about what others may think of you.

A simple concept.

This reminds me entirely of the book “The Courage to Be Disliked: How to Free Yourself, Change Your Life, and Achieve Real Happiness” by by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga.

It’s a simliar concept in that we shouldn’t be afraid to be ourselves at the expense of other peoples’ emotions.

I always found Mel Robbins’ books to be quite simple in her concepts, almost clishe, but these simple concepts are what allows us to remember them more easily and move forward in our lives.

I’ve often found myself saying the exact words “let them” from time to time in my life. The marketing on such a simple phrase is genius.
